Senseless Series of Sprees…
When people work with other people, in the sense of attempting to be a positive voice, a helping hand or a even a caretaker, it’s amazing how similar we humans actually are. The problems this person has or that person has are nothing more than a reflection of the problems we all share. Take for example a person that smokes cigarettes. Their “addiction”, or sin, is obvious to anyone and everyone around them. We all sin in some form, it’s just some sins are more obvious than others. Pornography, alcoholism or overeating is a massive problem in our world today, but no one we know is suffering with any of these sins, it’s someone else’s family member other peoples friends. Of the 4,392,486,580 (billion) hours in 2015 spent watching pornography it couldn’t be anyone we know – could it?
He is often perfectly sensible and well balanced concerning everything except liquor, but in that respect he is incredibly dishonest and selfish. He often possesses special abilities, skills, and aptitudes, and has a promising career ahead of him. He uses his gifts to build up a bright outlook for his family and himself, and then pulls the structure down on his head by a senseless series of sprees. He is the fellow who goes to bed so intoxicated he ought to sleep the clock around. Yet early next morning he searches madly for the bottle he misplaced the night before. If he can afford it, he may have liquor concealed all over his house to be certain no one gets his entire supply away from him to throw down the wastepipe. Source
Once again, looking at sin instead of one of it’s many tentacles, the above paragraph fits a great many, if not all, people. Someone living a sin-filled life doesn’t want help, and will hide any of the “tools” that help to perpetuate the life of sin.

We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
8 But sin, taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire. For apart from the law sin was dead.
9 I was alive once without the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died.
10 And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring death.
11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me.
12 Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good.
